Geocaching app opening via website

Might anyone know how to stop the Geocaching app from opening when opening a selected geocache page from the Geocaching website. I don’t want to view the geocache in the app format. MOST FRUSTRATING

Long press a link and select Open in Browser (or whatever is similar) and then I think it will continue to do so without long pressing. 

Because I have it doing that already, I can't run thru to confirm it.

for the most part, all of the information on the web cache listing is on the app. You can also choose a different app to handle geocaching addresses by default.

However, this became a problem when I was trying to edit and submit a new cache in the field, and the link would take me to the app, which couldn't open the unsubmitted geocache. Good times.
