The email notification does not contain any details. And in most cases, the email after an approval or denial of an edit request is not even sent. Usually you will not even notice when one of your waymarks is edited. This maybe has already happened many times.

However, there is no way to find out what it was. The details are not recorded; at least not in a place an officer has access to.

As an officer I can tell you that these change requests usually deal with offset coordinates, typos in the title, wrong states and the such. I have not seen a substantial change in the description yet.

1. Sure there is.  The officer could let the WMO know what was suggested and approved.  In fact, I plan to do this if  I ever receive an edit suggestion in the one category I'm an officer.

2. I suspect mine didn't have anything to do with coords or wrong  state or typos.
