igor71
I'm a little embarrassed about this one. While traveling in Southern Oregon, I placed a cache in Crater Lake National Park - which (as I should have known) is verboten by geocaching.com. So....I've got this cache up there that needs to be removed. Unfortunately, I live in Portland, and get to Crater Lake about once a year. Are there any geocachers in Southern Oregon willing to take a day trip and pick up this cache or move it outside of the park for me? It is located on the rim drive, so it will be unaccessable once the snows start. If you just wanted to pick it up, you would be entitled to the ammo container and all its cool contents - which include a travel bug that needs to be set free. If you're interested, please post a reply and I'll provide more details. Quote Link to comment
+DrJill
I was there just last weekend. I am in Roseburg. Perhaps I could go get it for you. Quote Link to comment
+DarkSide
I might be able to go one better - I live in the PDX area, but I fly down to K-Falls all the time. I could retrieve your cache for you and bring it back to you....... DS "Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day, set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life."
