+mole3650
Loads files gpx to the device. The device can see them. After restart - Geocache not find . Why ? I did the steps : 1) Connect the GPS to a computer. 2) Delete all GPX files and GGZ files in the memory from all directories. 3) Delete all files from the Garmin/SQL directory. 4) Restart the GPS and let it fully boot up. 5) Connect the GPS to a computer. 6) Add your pocket query and restart the GPS. Any ideas ? Quote Link to comment
+stefanwilkens
Are the caches in this PQ more than 100 miles away from your current location? Then the GPS 64 will not show them, it only shows caches on the map which are within a range of 100 miles on the map. But they are there and will show up once you are within range. Try to run a quick pocket query of caches close to your current location and load that, they should show up. +on4bam
If the caches are far away you can quickly check that by scrolling the map to the general area the caches are supposed to be in and zoom in. They should then be visible. You should also be able to see them using "search near" or something similar (I have an Oregon600). Quote Link to comment
+Timpat
I've had this happen with my 64s and in my case it was a corrupt custom map kmz file. Once I removed all kmz files, booted up fresh, shut down, then reloaded my caches all was well. Quote Link to comment
