+iceweed
Is there a set standard for items in a new cache? For instance, I have seen a sheet stating that this is a geocache, and directing people to the website if found inadvertently? Also standard log sheets? Thanks for the assistance. +noncentric
For templates of log sheets, you could try this site: LINK HERE As far as items to include in a cache, the choice of items greatly depends on the size of your cache. Some caches don't have enough room for more than a logsheet. If space permits, then including a pencil, sharpener, ballpoint pen could be helpful. There's almost no limit to what types of trinkets can be included in a cache, if size permits. What's probably more important to consider is what should not be included. THIS PAGE provides some guidance: Quote Geocaching is a family friendly and outdoor friendly game. Cache contents must be suitable for all ages and suitable for the outdoors. Do not place any of the following items in caches: Illegal material Dangerous material, such as explosives, ammunition, lighters, knives, drugs, or alcohol Edible or scented items Items that can melt, such as crayons or lip balm Items that can expand in the cold, such as liquids Quote Link to comment
