+cerberus1
I log in/out each time I enter the website and forums. The last couple weeks has had "Sign In" and Sign Up" on the website changed, rotated for whatever reason, a number of times. I believe most do things by habit. I've now clicked on "Sign Up" instead of "Sign In" because of this occasional change often, and it's a bit annoying. Please pick one. Quote Link to comment
+dprovan
The most annoying thing about a mistake like this is that from years of experience in the computer industry, my guess is that it's not a bug, it's a conscious decision: someone's probably telling themselves it's just a little thing, so it's OK for it to change. +cerberus1
I agree, why I didn't make it a bug report. Just don't know why it's been "changed" almost daily. Odd... Quote Link to comment

It may be an intentional act designed to defeat an automated tool. For example, maybe the-app-that-shall-not-be-named had been automatically logging people in by always "clicking" in the same place. By periodically altering the position of the button, this would no longer be as viable. Some OS security prompts do this to prevent users from always clicking in the same spot to make the prompt go away. By swapping buttons randomly, the user has to read what the buttons say and put more thought into their action. Quote Link to comment
