RuideAlmeida
The most recent browsers don't allow the plug-in, for security reasons. As a PM, you can try creating a List or PQ of all the caches you want to download... this is the alternative method right now. You can also download several .gpx and install them inside your folder in the GPS, via USB. 1 Quote Link to comment

+luvvinbird
If I have one or just a few caches to load into my GPSr, I'll use Internet Explorer and click "Send to my GPS". The Garmin (in my case) communicator pop-up appears, identifies my device, and I select "write". Quote Link to comment

Support for the technology that the Garmin Communicator plugin uses has been dropped by most browsers, and will be gone from all of the major browsers within the next couple of months. If it's still working for you, you're either using an old version of a browser or have taken the necessary steps to ensure it keeps working. Regardless, folks should start familiarizing themselves with the alternatives, because the plugin won't be a viable option for much longer. 2 Quote Link to comment
