+Mc Jandals Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 Hi, ive been trying to see how to set up a geoart trail, Ive seen acme mapper has been used, but every time I try to move markers another one comes up in its place, is there an easy way to move the markers around to get the desired picture?? If you want info on Acme mapper, I assume there's help on their site, or possibly a help file with the download (assuming download). If I were mapping geoart, I'd do it in Expert GPS, and I suspect most here would use Google Earth. Quote Link to comment

For planning geoart, I have used Garmin BaseCamp, which is a free download. I have drawn my image on a piece of plastic, repurposed an address window from an envelope, and then taped that to my monitor - then placed the waypoint markers on the map using that image as a guide. I then made small adjustments to each marker's coords using the BaseCamp program. Quote Link to comment
