+@rthur
Hi Groundspeak team ! Just to report that you are using an SSL certificate issued by Symantec on 10th April 2016 on https://coord.info and this certificate will be distrusted by Chrome and Firefox in upcoming version... I am using Firefox nightly (=alpha version of the upcomming version 60) and you can see in attachment the error (in French) that basically say that the connection is not secure. Mozilla Firefox team statement : Quote May 2018 (Firefox 60): Websites will show an untrusted connection error if they have a TLS cert issued before 2016-06-01 that chains up to a Symantec root. Google Chrome team statement : Quote Starting with Chrome 66, Chrome will remove trust in Symantec-issued certificates issued prior to June 1, 2016. Chrome 66 is currently scheduled to be released to Chrome Beta users on March 15, 2018 and to Chrome Stable users around April 17, 2018. You can check the SSL certificate here : https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=coord.info The solution is that your technical team have to ask basically for a new SSL certificate. +frinklabs
I hope that when the wildcard certificate expires in a year, they move away from a (very expensive) for-pay cert authority to my new favorite thing in the world: https://letsencrypt.org Free (yes, free) wildcard SSL certificates. Sticking it to the man! Quote Link to comment
