Photos are being rotated

I am uploading photos and many are being rotated. I took all the photos with my phone and downloaded them together. Some of the photos are rotated 90 degrees to the left and some are rotated 90 degrees to the right. The only photos that are not being rotated are the ones downloaded from the internet. The cartridge is about ready except for the pictures.

The short answer is the photos' metadata is telling your computer to rotate the photos when it displays them to you.  The player app is not reading this metadata and rotating the pictures likewise.  This is my guess.

To fix it, perhaps try rotating the pictures one way or the other on your computer, then rotate them back again.  Put them in a test cartridge where you live (so you don't have to go out to where you have your cartridge), load that onto your player app, and see if the photos are still rotated.

I tried what you said and it did not work. So, I edited all of my photos with Paint, cropped the photo about 1% and saved the change. Now, all photos are coming in correctly.

I had a problem like this and edited the photos to be square.  Sounds like a similar solution to what you ended up doing Racer57.
