+geospaap Posted January 27, 2018 Share Posted January 27, 2018 Good day, I have build and tested a Wherigo and created the GWZ package using Urwigo. When I try to create the Wherigo on Wherigo.com, I try to upload this to the Wherigo.com page via http://www.Wherigo.com/cartridge/upload.aspx page but I get below error.Error Occured System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Wherigo.GSPCartridgeService.CartridgeService.UploadGWZ(String cartridgeFileName, Byte[] cartridgeFile, Guid id, Int64 ownerId) at cartridge_upload.BtnUpload_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) Does anybody have experience with problems uploading GWZ files and tips how to correct? Is there a max size? max numer of zones? max picture size? Is the upload indeed creating the Wherigo on their website? I would have expected the creation process would be: 1st make a page with description, then upload the cartridges (for pocket pc and oregon etc, then 'publish' it. +geospaap Posted January 27, 2018 Author Share Posted January 27, 2018 I guess the file was too big. I reduced all the pricture and replaced them in the cartridge. then created a new gwz and uploaded same. That did the trick. Quote Link to comment
