shopkins21
Hi all, This is my kid's question. We're kind of new to this, and I can't find any answers either. We've tried Wikipedia and Google and have now emailed Geocache directly. I don't how y'all found the answers, but any other help would be appreciated. Thank you so much. Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
It's off-topic in this forum, although the two games/sports are distant cousins. In my experience, few cachers are orienteers, or vice versa. Link to comment
shopkins21
Thank you, Viajero. My daughter has to figure out the definitions for these terms in order to earn a badge for her troop. Thank you for your help. Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
This is an opportunity for her to learn a bit about self-reliance, and perhaps internet search skills. Both highly valuable. Encourage her! Link to comment
+noncentric
The OP may want to reach out to the US Orienteering organization: https://orienteeringusa.org Without spoon-feeding the info, I will say that there is a directory of Clubs on that website, but I'll leave it to the OP or his/her daughter to figure out how to get there from the main website. There are multiple O clubs in each of the states the OP has found caches in, so hopefully reaching out to those clubs will provide more help than in this geocaching forum. Link to comment

+Joe_L
Also see the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) website. Joe Link to comment
+briansnat
I suggest the OP visit some of the orienteering sites suggested. As this is not a geocaching topic, closing this. Link to comment
