(BUG) I can't log geocaches

I can upload concepts, but when I try to log them everything appears greyed out and I can't even click on log it so nothing happens...

Try to press F5 or, if possible, switch to the old log page.

This bug appears sometimes also on my pc, sometimes not.

When you have an app like Cachly or cgeo, you can also log within these apps.

The official Geocaching app also allows for logging caches, either directly from the individual cache or from Drafts. Just about any geocaching app that interfaces with Geocaching.com will allow for logging caches.

 

However, logging through the website should also work. Sometimes, the page stalls on loading, which I've seen more often with the 'new' logging page compared to the 'old' page.  Sometimes the only solution is to wait a little while and then try again.

Another option would be to switch to the 'old' logging page.  Since you have a new account, then the 'new' page is probably your default option, so you'd need to "Opt Out".  You can do this by going to the individual cache's page, then "Log Geocache" there, then select "Opt Out"  at the upper right. Once you select to "Opt Out", then you won't have to select it again. It will remain as your preference and logs you enter from individual cache pages will retain that choice. But, even after Opting Opt, logging directly from the Drafts page will always be in the 'new' format. Logs cannot be entered in the 'old' format with Drafts.
