Logscaler and Red
Well I came up with what I think could be a new style cache. Has one like this been done yet ? Let me know what you think about it. logscaler. Quote Link to comment
Chief Paulina
I'm presently scratching my head, thinking "where am I going to find a plate?" Perhaps I can find one on my journeys. If all else fails, I will look forward to checking it out someday. It will be like a museum. If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there - George Harrison Quote Link to comment
evergreenhiker!
Hmmm....interesting idea! Go for it. Game needs innovation. I do have an old license plate, but not in the area much. Maybe next summer I'll check the place out. Quote Link to comment
Logscaler and Red
I see lots of plates laying in ditches in my travels and if I take time to grab them, I should be able to just about cover the the state's after a while. But having others stop by should help. Quote Link to comment
bigeddy
quote:Let me know what you think about it. The cache that tries to be everything: traditional, theme, virtual, or even like a locationless in that you find an item but with the twist that you bring it to the coordinates! The description is vintage Logscaler, interesting but... say what??? The unfortunate thing is the remote location. I doubt that more than a handful of people will visit it. At least there is a reason to stop now. So, where did I put those old plates when we moved to Oregon? "The more you drive, the less intelligent you are." -Repo Man Quote Link to comment
Logscaler and Red
well bigeddy, I could move the location to town - Bend - if that would interest you. You do have a fence right ? Just let me know which corner you want to start on. logscaler. Quote Link to comment
sskamp
Great idea, gunna play that one on my way south come spring time. Quote Link to comment
fractal
Finally got around to checking the cache page, and I must say that it's a WAY cool idea! It's almost like a community art project, in a way. Why haven't I thought of something like this yet? Hmmmm.. Sometime in the future, I might ask you about borrowing this idea and making some modifications to it (with full credit, of course!) And even though it's WAY out of my normal cache finding area, something tells me I'm gunna make it down that way this summer Great cache idea! -fractal -=-=-=-=-=-=- N 45 30.ish W 122 58.ish Quote Link to comment
Renegade Knight
Cool idea. I'd of picked up a plate or two when I had the chance while placing a cache. (You would be impressed at the trail of car parts some roads seem to have). There is a tree nearby that people seem to like leaving christmas garland in. I had thought about making that a cache, but the permission issue was spotty. Your idea is better. Wherever you go there you are. Quote Link to comment

The Minnesota Cajuns
I've got New York and Texas plates sitting around here somewhere. Maybe one day I will make a trip down there. Quote Link to comment
Bufford
I do believe I've got a set of Florida plates from one of my sister-in-law's cars adorning the back wall of my garage.....guess where one of them will most likely end up. Don't think, just do it Quote Link to comment
Zzzoey & illDRIVEuNav
We are driving to Phoenix in a few weeks and will go right past this cache. Now to find a license plate! Quote Link to comment
