+fractal
Well.. Since we're in Oregon, I don't think too many of us will have a problem with rain. -fractal Quote Link to comment

+Bodoni
Rain ain't no biggie and I don't think you should change the date on short notice anyway. Quote Link to comment
igor71
Need another person to commit to driving for The Cube. We have drivers for two teams, but need a third. Please let me know ASAP, so I can work things out with the team structures. Quote Link to comment
+MattandLaura
hate to do this, but I will be unable to make it. Having some work issues. Quote Link to comment
igor71
I need two people to step up and volunteer to drive, or we may have to reschedule The Cube for another date. dasein has committed to carry one team, but in order for this to work, I need drivers for teams 2 and 3. We need vehicles that can carry at least 5, or some teams will have to caravan in multiple vehicles with two-way radios. I'd prefer it if we could consolidate... Additionally, I need two more people to volunteer their cell #'s. Just contact me via email with the details. Thanks... drea
Rain Man Singin' in the Rain Rain Pheonix --sorry, just getting in the movie mood. Yep, I'll still be there even if it's raining (if there's a there to be at). -Drea Quote Link to comment
Shinwa
Yes, I get to find an event cache and hopefully log a find. Last time I got the pleasure of helping fractal accomplish “The game”. It will be nice to be on the otherside this time. Shinwa Quote Link to comment

Sassquatch
But I don't own a vehicle that can hold that many people. I do have the two FRS radios. Up the airy mountain, down the rushing glen We dare not go a hunting, for fear of little men Quote Link to comment
+oregone
the crx is a two-seater, but i have been known to stuff 13 people my old subaru. So i guess it's not too far of a stretch to fit 5 in my current car. But whoever comes with me better not whine about the smell. or the fact that the crx has somehow lost the ability to turn right. it's really no problem, however, because a right is just three really quick lefts if you think about it. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment
+fractal
We can just ride in the back of your truck, can't we? We'll just bring rain gear I would offer my vehicle, but I have NO KNOWLEDGE of any streets or caches in that area. If I were to drive, my team would lose... And I don't wanna lose -fractal Quote Link to comment

bellemanda
I can kinda fit 5 in my geometro, if they are smaller people -- not quite little people -- maybe just 15th century people. SO, I volunteer to drive. ~~ I'm not great enough to be modest. Quote Link to comment
drea
As a GPSunit-challenged person, I just want to confirm that the kick-off point is still at the corner of NE 39th and Sandy at 6:30pm tonight, right? Drea Quote Link to comment
igor71
The coordinates will put you in a parking lot. Use the clue if you need it. I leave to set things up in about an hour. Once again, remember to bring (aside from the GPS): Flashlights and a Portland map. See you all there. Quote Link to comment
+Boojum
I'm dropping from this one. Between rain and getting to the eastside in under an hour at 6:30, eek! Sorry... it would have been fun to see all of you again and meet new faces. Next time, I guess. Quote Link to comment
igor71
Finished planting the first three. The rest in the next couple hours. Sorry to hear that Boojum is dropping out. One other thing. If you have a digital camera, please bring it with so that you can document your team progress. Remember...6:30 sharp. Quote Link to comment

+dasein
dasein of team #2 sure had a great time, especially rooting around in numerous bushes at the second 'waypoint'--NOT! Anyhow, the team we were on squeaked by in 1st place literally one minute ahead of Bodoni, Quantum Mechanic, MardiGras Man and Sassquatch (who am I forgetting?...?) We *almost* wished we had more caches to do. This was great fun, Igor. Thanks for all the work you put into this! --laurak of dasein Quote Link to comment

igor71
Thanks to all those who volunteered to drive, navigate and call while within The Cube. Congrats to Team 1 and dasein, who get the task of bringing our next adventure to life. For those who haven't logged The Cube, I've got pictures up now. Feel free to post your own. Also, I'll keep the event page active until the end of the week for those who need time... igor71 Quote Link to comment

John E Cache
I cleaned the junk out of my van and drove to the east side and I was late. For some reason I thought it was a 7 PM start. I guess I was thinking of The Game. Oh well, maybe next time. The weather and traffic were sure better than expected though. Quote Link to comment
