Message Center: How to clear notifications?

Hi all-

I have a virtual that requires finders to message (or email) me some info, which works fine but for the fact that I seem to have the yellow dot permanently set on the envelope icon on both the website and the iphone app; the latter also has a badge icon which keeps me thinking I have a new notification when I, in fact, do not. I read every message, so I don't understand why the message center still thinks I have something unread (which, I believe, would be highlighted in bold, which I find it hard to discriminate between read and unread). 

Anyone know what I can do to clear the icons?

If you reply back, that can show up as a new message in the message center.  Click your reply after you send it and see if that helps.

Hmm, I couldn't see a spot to click on my reply, but I did go through and click on every. single. message., and the icon went away. I didn't see any indication of an unread message or reply. 

Oh well, it seems to be taken care of and I'll be more vigilant, though it'd be nice if the interface was a little more clear about what was read/unread, replies, etc.
