rogersargo
Hi there, out for a walk with my son today we found a cache purely by chance. Inside was a number of items and a travel bug...we took the bug with the intention of finding the cache and logging it etc. (No data signal near site) upon returning home, the site is not listed and the code on the bug is not recognized. Any suggestions? NB we didn't read the log. Although a member (from years ago) never actually started caching, but when my six year old found this I thought it a good time to start - so a perplexing beginning! Quote Link to comment
Keystone
It would help to know where you found this cache. Do you have the name of a park or trail where you were walking? The nearest street intersection? Quote Link to comment

A little bit of clarification, please, on what you mean by "the site is not listed. " Did you note the GC CODE of the cache? If you share it, a reviewer can tell if it is an unpublished cache. Were there any other sigs on the log? It is very common for travel bug codes to be hard to read--and often 1 looks like I, 0 like O, 5 like S, etc. Please don't post the TB code here, but you might try some of the other possible combinations.
