+alligatorsnz
hey can any one tell me how i can load gpx files into the app off line? I often put a back up of my gsak search onto my phone in case the garmin throws one of its tantrums.. so i can reload them on the fly.. With the old app i could just from the front page .. you could search for all .gpx on the device then load it in the offline lists.. just cant seem to find search on the new app... ( other than searching while in data and saving for off line..) Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
If there's a way to do this with the new app, I'm not seeing it. You can create a list or pocket query and then download that to the phone so it's available offline, but I don't see an option to use a GPX file offline with the app. Quote Link to comment
+geo K
I also used to download gsak GPX files to my phone. The new app does not use .gpx files, it uses Lists. Not a problem, gsak has a command in Gc.com access called "Add to bookmark list...". A Bookmark List [a title] needs to be created in GC.com first. Use This link to the old style Create ... List then "Create New Bookmark List". Enter a name and check Share and Public, if sharing it. Now use "Add to bookmark list..." in gsak, point to your new List and click Add. Go to your phone's GC app and he the new List should be there. I find that I am using my phone and the GC app w/o using my GPS, although it took a while to just believe in the GC app. 1 Quote Link to comment
