+mcbeath family Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 I have a Windows phone and are using Maloo as my geocaching app. I now cannot access photos or puzzles...instead I have a small box that says please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting. Does anyone know how to do this? There is a link to photobucket underneath it which is trying to charge me large amounts... Any ideas welcome Thanks McBeath family Quote Link to comment
+hzoi Posted September 12, 2017 Share Posted September 12, 2017 It sounds like a cache owner hosted image files on photobucket, but they don't have the right kind of account to display the photos on other websites, like geocaching.com. You can see it in old threads here on the geocaching forums as well. Long term solution is for the owner to find another image host -- like simply uploading the photo to the cache page. Short term solution for you would be to try contacting the cache owner and let them know you can't see the photo. Just to be sure, though, can you post the GC code to one or more of the caches you've seen this on? Quote Link to comment
