Please follow these steps (if you're using Firefox, you'll see "Browse"; for other browsers, you will see other wording):

  1. Go to Wherigo.com
  2. Log in to Wherigo.com.  Use the same user name and password as geocaching.com.
  3. In the top navigation menu, click Build.
  4. Click the middle option, "Upload a new Wherigo cartridge".
  5. Click the "Browse" button and select your zip file.
  6. Click the "Upload GWZ File" button.  You will be taken to the cartridge listing edit page.
  7. Fill out the form that follows.  Do not use HTML or Bad ThingsTM will happen.
    1. Yes, the state/province section is broken.
    2. You don't need logging.
    3. Check "Make this cartridge available in the directory" and "Cartridge is active" to make it visible on Wherigo.com.
  8. Click the "Save Cartridge Details" button.  You will see the cartridge listing edit page again, but should see a green checkmark icon in a box with a yellow background.  This tells you what you typed in has been saved.
  9. Above the box with a yellow background and above the words "Editing a Cartridge," you will see your cartridge's name as a hyperlink.  Click that.  This will take you to your cartridge listing's page.
  10. On the left side, you will see a gray rectangle with the word "No Image" in it.  Below that is a hyperlink that says, "Edit this image."  Click that.  This will take you to a page where you can upload an image for the cartridge, also known as the cartridge's poster.
  11. Click the "Browse" button and find an image to use as your cartridge's poster.  For best results, follow the cartridge media sizing guidelines.
  12. Once you have selected a cartridge poster, click the "Upload File" button.  You will then see the image you uploaded, sized and cropped based on what the site expects.  If it looks okay, click the "Save" button to confirm.  This will take you back to your cartridge listing's page.
  13. If you want, you can add attributes by clicking the "Edit Attributes" link.
  14. When everything is how you want, copy the URL, located in your browser's address bar, to the cartridge listing page.

You have more than 500 geocaches on geocaching.com, so I am not going to go into how you create a geocache listing.  However, you will need to provide that link you copied in the last step above as a related web page link in your geocache listing.  You might also want to put it in the geocache's description so someone using a smartphone and an app can click the link and be redirected to your cartridge listing's page so it's easy to download the cartridge.

Do you have any other questions about this process?
