Where can I find info for logging a Benchmark?? This is my first Benchmark, so I'm unsure how to log it. TIA

Its kind of hard to find that section in the website, but click on this link to find the Benchmark Hunting section. There you can find answers to a lot of questions and even start a search for the benchmark you want to log. Click on the Advanced Search link and you will find even more option to find the mark you want to log.

You can get back there by going to the Help Center, linked at the bottom of every page on Geocaching.com and there,  enter Benchmark as a search term. 

It's also linked from the top of forum, Geocache Types and Additional GPS Based Gameplay  in the intro to the Benchmark section.

I follow the link on the cache page of a nearby geocache for the nearest benchmark.

Similar to Manville Possum, we click on "...all nearby benchmarks"  in the middle of a cache page.  That helps tell me whether that benchmark might even  be in the system on this site.  There's a lot  not included.

Finding the correct one (there's that  helpful link above by Team Christiansen), I click on the "PID"  (it's highlighted to the left in blue) which brings me to that benchmark's page.

The first line under Navigation is "Log this Benchmark".  Clicking on it brings you to a simple log format, similar to your found it log for caches. 

If you find the disk isn't in this site's database, follow the help under "Benchmarks Not in the Database" in that same link from T.C., or you can ask the very helpful folks in the Benchmarking forums  (the link provided by  MichaelCycle). 

We're well over a hundred not in the system.

Not sure if the site Here may be of help.

European benchmarks are also available in the Waymarking site.

At one time I downloaded a app that had the benchmarks on them.  I only needed 2 for a challenge.  Then I stopped worrying about them and just take a look at them.
