Econocrat
Hi. I have not used my GPS in years...I have forgotten how to transfer a cache from the GPS to the website. I can't seem to find the transfer button...or was that only for premium members? unit: Oregon 450 thanks Quote Link to comment

I used to cache with one of these, but I'm not sure what you mean here. I didn't think that the Oregon had the capability to enter draft logs, though I may be wrong; if it does have this function, I never tried to use it. Are you trying to create a geocache using waypoints recorded on your GPSr? If so, you'll need to manually enter the information into the website; there's no option to upload the waypoint directly. If you mean something else, please clarify what you're trying to do. Quote Link to comment
Econocrat
I found a cache. On my GPS I logged it. I want to transfer the record of the found log back to the geocaching website. I vaguely remember having a tool that would scan the files on my GPS and extract the logs. :/ Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Here's the relevant Help Center article: Upload drafts (field notes) I'm not familiar with the details of doing this with an Oregon 450 though. Quote Link to comment
Econocrat
fantastic. I remember it was called "field notes" back then. The drafts button is what I was looking for. Thanks so much Quote Link to comment
