+humboldt flier
Met a kid last week ... head buried in his iPhone on the new app and a small carry sack with 8-10 geo containers. His question to me ... well I found them and signed the log but where do I re-hide them. "Scooby-Dooo Moment on my part" Receptive to the suggestion that he return them and re-hide as found was cool to cold ... followed by NO. Got to love it ... not Quote Link to comment
+Fish_fantasy
Sigh... I am usually a stickler about rules and hate when newbies like that just assume that what they do must be right. It seems to be an alarming trend lately. Quote Link to comment
+noncentric
Please tell me you're joking? I sure do hope that he got bored with it quickly and doesn't muggle many more caches. 1 Quote Link to comment
+DragonsWest
Alas, I've experienced this as a CO a few times. In this welcoming of new cachers message the lilypad puts out, perhaps something in fresh, dynamic lettering which states, you are to find the container, feel free to trade with contents, but leave it where you found it for the NEXT cacher. We experienced this a few times when that free Intro muggle app came out, haven't with this one yet, though most our remaining hides are rated higher in terrain. They don't wanna walk I guess... We found two, lost more. All ammo cans. One was placed and even had a GC#. A cacher brought it back to us, since it still had our cache & CO name on the green geocaching sticker, and our original RIR note book inside . Sheesh... Quote Link to comment

Disrespectful punk. Parents need to teach him some lessons including how not to be a lazy-a**. Quote Link to comment
