stanandannie
So what happens to a travel bug that is in a cache when it is converted to a premium cache? My travel bug seems to have disappeared after that happened. Quote Link to comment

My travel bug seems to have disappeared after that happened. Trackables don't change by making a hide pmo. If it indeed disappeared, it might have been a premium member who swiped it. Though, your Geico tag was placed in a pmo cache that was finally archived over a month ago, and seemed to have issues earlier with containers, and maybe non-cachers before that. Guess you can hope that someone has it and will finally log it correctly. We lost our gecko too. Luckily we didn't pay for that one... Quote Link to comment
+noncentric
Your trackable going missing seems to be related to the cache being muggled, rather than the status of the cache. The cacher that had your TB refurbished their own cache and placed your TB into that cache. One cacher (a premium member) logged a find on that cache a couple weeks later. A couple months later, the CO archived the cache. It sounds like the cache was destroyed again. If that's the case, then it's likely that your TB got muggled. The last cacher to log your TB is also the CO of the last cache it was dropped into. You might try contacting them to ask if they have any ideas. Maybe they saw damage to their cache and collected pieces of it, and trackables, before archiving it. There were 3 other trackables dropped into the now-archived cache when yours was dropped in. It would be a shame if all of them were muggled. 1 Quote Link to comment
stanandannie
Thanks Cerberus1 and noncentric, now I understand what has happened. Sad--my TB had gone so far and to so many countries and I so enjoyed seeing where it landed next. Quote Link to comment
