+Firecrest55
I was fortunate enough to come into possession of an inactivated travel bug that was acquired nearly ten years ago. I have now activated it and placed it in my inventory along with othe trackable in my possession. Shortly after activating it, other caches have been logging it as having discovered it. Why is this trackable special as this has not happened with the other trackable? Regards Firecrest55 Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Quote Why is this trackable special as this has not happened with the other trackable? Does your trackable listing display the tracking code in the image? There are those who scan the trackable gallery for displayed codes for discovery. It's really not related to anything "special" about the trackable, beyond the special fact that the code is available ~ usually from an image. Quote Link to comment
+speakers-corner
Just checked. The tracking number is visable. I would advise you to delete the current picture and upload a new one without the tracking code showing. Quote Link to comment

Clicking on Scottie's pic ( larger image) shows the tracking code. You could delete the pic and start again, or phase out the code # from the tag, but now that it's online, it's image is probably somewhere... - Also, those who scan for codes often share their hits with others...
