Forum has new features...

Okay, new features: "Heart" must be favorite points?

What is "Member's Total Reputation"?

Also, can not access the Waymarking forum directly from Waymarking.com, getting error "404 Not Found"

Clicking the heart means you're upvoting a post. "Member's Total Reputation" is the total number of upvotes your posts have received.

Thanks for the heads up about the link from Waymarking.com. I've got a message in now to the engineering team to get that link updated.

The old URL for the forums does not work for me.  There is nothing quite like improvements that nobody can see.

All I get is 404 Not Found message.

If you look you'll see that the URL has changed. They seem to have forgotten to change the URL for "FORUMS" on the WM page. We found that if you have the old URL bookmarked it gets redirected properly, though.

Yep.  I found my way here.  I almost always go the forums by clicking on the Forums "button" at the top of the Waymarking page; since I've just been reviewing Waymarks or doing my own Waymarking, and that's when I want to peruse the forums.  I had a bookmark in my browser, but I rarely used it.  Didn't even think to this time.

But, as usual, I figured that if something is screwed up in Waymarking, perhaps it was okay in Geocaching.  And that's how I got to the new forums!  Good thing we have some better support in Waymarking now.  I suspect that the link at the top will be fixed shortly.

Which means that one or two folks are going into withdrawal and will soon need to seek medical assistance, no?

The Waymarking website should now point to these forums correctly now.

Here I thought the server was under attack and they removed the forums to save the system.  ok it was just the developers changing things!
