RuideAlmeida
I never saw this until today, but the total of available (not Archived) caches in Brazil shown in the old and in the new search pages differs by two... Why this could be? Quote Link to comment
RuideAlmeida
Having all of them in watchlist, I can confirm 3483, so I am really curious about the next two. Quote Link to comment

RuideAlmeida
Problem solved... sort of. Using the new search page, two already Archived Events are also presented XXV Geomeeting Mensal Até à vista, Rio Grande do Sul! Though the reason they still appear on the search is a question I can't answer. Thank you all! Quote Link to comment
+Team DEMP
Searching via the api only gives 3434. What is the mechanism by which you ran that query and generated that dialog? Something in GSAK and if so, what? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+HHL
[...] What is the mechanism by which you ran that query and generated that dialog? Something in GSAK and if so, what? Thanks GSAK > Geocaching.com access > Get Geocaches ... The button "Total #" gives you that resulting window before you download the geocaches. Hans Quote Link to comment

Hans Quite weird. Did you by chance have "disabled" deselected? I get close to that result (3431) by doing so, otherwise I get 3482 (same as web search today) through (I expect) that same GSAK query. RuideAlmeida
Yesterday both search pages shown the same amount of caches, 3482. Both today again, a new difference... 3484 on the old and 3481 on the new. In both cases, the old search page has the correct info, while the new firstly show more and now less than the correct amount of available caches. So the problem resides in the new search page, I guess. Still looking for a reason... PS: Curiously other countries show the same 3 caches less now... Maybe there is a problem synchronising data from the servers containing the geocache databases and the servers serving the API (I think the new search page uses the API) I had a problem where GC77TWK didn't show up via the API (it is fixed now), but someone reported that GC73N9B doesn't show up via API Quote Link to comment
