Sorry for writing this in English, but my Polish is near to non existant :)

After the giga in September, I want to stay 2 days in Poland and then drive from Oświęcim to Görlitz/Zgorzelec.

I am searching historical caches near this route (let's say 5 km left and right of A4), mainly 2nd World War. E. g. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4TVWB_gliwicka-provokace-31-8-1939

I don't care if its nano or large, as long as it shows me some historical place.

TIA

Hi Mark,

This Cache is a "must do" for you:

GC4TVWB - Gliwická provokace 31.8.1939

I was there in February, took some time to find it though. There are lots of Stones there.

That's his example cache. rolleyes.gif

Hi Mark,

I know your question was more or less about drive ins, but if you are really into WW2 places I'd recommend reconsidering the entire plan and visit there:

Be advised I know the places but I haven't found the caches as I wasn't caaching at the time so I can't assure about their quality. But Riese complex seems like a must for a perosn with your interests...

Riese is definately on my bucket list, but not on this trip. It's just "driving home" and there isn't enough time.
