PDX: Free "Television Preview" tix for June 28 - will put in a cache

My quite underwhelmed friend got a letter with 4 tickets in it inviting him to a "Television Preview Event!" which will "DIRECTLY INFLUENCE what you see on television in the future!!" It also has blurbs like "You have been selected to help represent the television viewing preferences of THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!" and other hype-phrases. They are holding the "event" in Wilsonville.

 

Whatever.

 

I figure SOMEONE would be excited about this stuff. Sooo... I will have these tix plus the hype-filled letter in the High Power Cache sometime later tonite (tuesday, june 24).

 

I apologize in advance for causing trash-in-a-cache, if no one wants these things.

Hey great.......

 

I have an incredible offer from Columbia House, Sears, Home Depot, and countless others. Anyone need a rototiller. I've been looking for a way to get rid of my junk mail. I say you recycle.

This Cache may be a better place to drop them off at. It's closer to Wilsonville, and if no one wants to use them... the recycling center is only 50ft away. Heck, why don't we make this our official junkmail drop off cache? Trash in... Cache out?

if you find these tickets after said date, please take them 50 ft to the east and recycle them

 

Of course, any trash bigger than these tickets will have to bypass the cache and go straight to the recycling center

Yep... Like dozens of others I know, my tix are already in the recycling...

 

My mind not only wanders...

Sometimes it leaves completely...

Eh, didn't know there were THAT unpopular! Well, good, at least it saves me an errand today. Actually it saves me 2 trips, because I was planning on taking them out in a few days if no one wanted them.
