+Pouty7 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) Hi there , was wondering if any cachers out there might recommend some nice walking/hiking routes that would incorporate a stopover at a nice pub for some grub?. (and of course some caches). I am in the London area, but would love any suggestions for Kent, Herts, Essex, Bucks or even further afield. (am not fussy! lol). Would love to hear some suggestions! Ps. Apologies if i posted this in the wrong forum! Edited May 9, 2017 by Pouty7 Quote

+20EP Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Try the Shipbourne Stroll (1 & 2) either side of The Chaser Inn in Kent Quote
Blue Square Thing Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 There are some nice caches up on the North Downs at Hucking, between Maidstone and Sittingbourne and close to the A249, just south of the M2 - some trads and some puzzle ones that would be well worth trying to solve before you go. The pub is, I believe, now open again and it's a great spot. Tom's Treasure Chest is a particular favourite cache of mine. Quote
+Team S.F. Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Little bit further afield is the Parramble series https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC350WP_parramble-1-high-stile 150 caches set out in 3 loops with an amazing pub right in the middle. A little group of us did it a few years back, great series, great views!! Quote
