+OhLookABunny!
I was out caching in Canada today using the new app, and was very disappointed to see that the unit of measure is selected by the operating system language. I switched to Canadian English... But now I have a "torch" instead of a flashlight, which is just silly. No one in Canada uses that term. Tying units of measure to OS settings may seem like a ui cost saving measure, but it's not a good solution. I can understand the default being based on country, but it's out possible to override it? It makes about a much sense as hard coding language to geolocation. When it fails, it fails spectacularly. Quote Link to comment
