+SnuggleTrumpet
Hey Everyone! I am new to Geocaching and had a question regarding the Travel Bugs. I travel around from state to state a LOT, 14 unique states last year a lot. I was wondering if it was considered bad etiquette if after finding one of these bugs, and there are no restrictions or requests attached to the bug otherwise, I can take it with me to a different state, or even country, to deposit in another Cache? In other words, do I need to keep it reasonably local or is there no restriction? Thanks in advance for any help. Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
A lot of information on trackable movement and "etiquette" can be found in this link to Beginner's Basics in the Help Center and Geocaching 101. Many Trackables have "missions" they'd like to accomplish, requested by that Trackable's Owner (TO). - So some could be local, or World-wide. Most today would be happy if they simply move along in caches, and remain in play. Quote Link to comment

+lee737
Generally, if there is no mission, take it as far as possible.... just make sure you place it in a safe cache - well hidden, good condition, dry etc to reduce the chances of muggling..... Quote Link to comment
