MountainWoods
How about a new category to waymark every cat in the world, domestic and otherwise. Perhaps all felines. Yes, they move; but the coordinates would be of wherever the cat was when you decided to waymark it. No caterpillar tractors. Real cats only. Preferably alive. 1 Quote Link to comment
T0SHEA
Sure Girlie would love to be waymarked. Hummm, this is April 1st! We could also waymark Girlie's litter box in that Unusual Smells category proposal a few years back. Edited April 1, 2017 by BK-Hunters Quote Link to comment
NW_history_buff
I would fully support this. In fact, I would include dead cats, preferably the road pizza variety. But seriously, since we have a category for dog statues, we might as well create a category for felines. Quote Link to comment
T0SHEA
Lions would have to be excluded: Lion Statues Just with a quick look we have two already to go in this new category. Of course they are sculptures. Not what I would consider "living" however they do look real. Does that count? Quote Link to comment
iconions
I'm actually surprised that the Waymarking idea wasn't to waymark people with actual objects as surnames! LOL! Happy April 1st, Mr. Swan! Quote Link to comment
Manville Possum
How about Feral Cat Feeding Stations? There are several feral cat colonies locally, and people leave food for them. Quote Link to comment

Benchmark Blasterz
I will vote against this category in peer review unless it expanded to include all the members of the family Felidae, which would therefore include all cats of whatever kind wherever they may be found in the world. Without this change, this category will never be TRULY global. I would exclude Lion Statues from this category, as that will create a redundancy problem. All statues of all other members of the family Felidae should be welcomed. PS-- Today would have been my Dad's 83rd birthday. He was born on Easter Sunday 1934 -- 01 Apr 1934 Happy birthday Dad! Keith As the old german saying goes: Hunde habe Herrchen Katzen haben Personal (in english approximately: A dog has an owner. A cat has staff) or if you have more then one cat (like us ): Hunde haben Herrchen. Katzen haben Dosenöffner. (in english approximately: Dogs have an owner.
