+daniel5005
Hi, does anybody has an idea which the first reverse geocache has been or when it has been "hidden"? Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
As your question is in the Waymarking forum, are you asking when the first Waymarks were posted? The site was open to some beta-testers before it was open to the general geocaching public. I know this dates back to 2005, I don't know if *maybe* as early as late 2004. BruceS may know the first waymark. Likely something by staff as part of early testing. Locationless geocache owners were given access to the site before it open to the general public, to move their Locationless from Geocaching.com to Waymarking. That was sometime late 2005. For Geocaches, Locationless Reverse cache, see my bookmark list, "firsts" Link to the oldest cache type Locationless --> Please Donate Blood, GC1C90 It's really more complex than that. There were no cache types at first, they were all Geocache. So the first listing created as a Locationless at time of being written up is some other hide, something from April 2002.
