As I went for a hike yesterday, and started my Garmin 78s the maps turned out all grey, functional but grey background instead of usual yellow, water features are of a deep blue instead of pale blue. Anyone know how to change back these colours to original default? Quote Link to comment

Exit106 Posted March 24, 2017 Author Share Posted March 24, 2017 That solved the problem. Although -> Marine Setup-> was on off, when turned ON it let the maps redraw the way I was accustomed to. Plus on the topo maps, Nautical and Fishing modes makes the elevation lines appear and disappear. Strange behaviour I had never encountered on a unit of offer 7 years old.
