k_t_t
On Garmin GPSMap 64s, there is a rubber button below batteries, next to memory card holder. I haven't found any explanation for this button and I haven't also opened my unit to check, is this button actually connected somewhere. Does someone know, what is the functionality of this button? Is it a reset button or something? Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
It is for use with the Garmin NiMh battery packs. When a Garmin battery pack is inserted, it pushes the button down. That does two things; it automatically sets the battery type to precharged. It also allows the batteries to be charged while still in the GPS. Quote Link to comment
