+Jenniferdsharp Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) hi i have done plenty of Geo before, using my phone, i work at a school, we invested in the Garmin etrex 10, after several hours, i eventually gave up trying to load caches on to my GPS. I downloaded everything i needed to, it being the first time i have used it and it still wouldn't work, i tried it on two different computers,i have noticed several people on line with the same problem with the same device. any advice plz Edited February 23, 2017 by Jenniferdsharp Quote Link to comment

The individual is at a school so I would expect that the etrex GPS can be handed to students in a classroom or outside. Every post doesn't need to be "my smartphone is better then your GPS". When you connect to the computer via USB cable, do you see a new drive (like C:) listed called Garmin? What are you doing that isn't working? Quote Link to comment
+briansnat Posted February 23, 2017 Share Posted February 23, 2017 When you hook your device up to your PC you should see an external drive called Garmin. The same way you would attach an external drive. There is a GPX directory. Move your GPX files there. Moving this to a more appropriate forum where the experts can help. Quote Link to comment
