+Trekkin' and birdin'
It used to be possible to search for caches with a key word. That has disappeared and now the closest is "starts with." If one is looking to see if other topics have been used for a cache, such as 'Star Wars', that key word may not be the first word in the cache name. Is there any chance that could return as a search parameter? Quote Link to comment
Rock Chalk
I think you've got it mixed up. The old search has "Cache Starts With:" as a parameter. The new search has "Geocache Name Contains..." as a parameter. Quote Link to comment

+NYPaddleCacher
NB: And now for something completely different: When will we get a "Save as GPX"-button? I suspect that one of the issues is that search results contain data that is not defined in the GPX schema. For example, the search results include favorite points and there isn't an element for storing the number of favorites in a GPX file. The same issue is manifested when ones tries to "Map the first 1,000 geocaches". The data includes filters which the map layer can't handle, so the feature panel that normally appears on the left side of the page is turned off, and the only way to see all of the caches is to "Clear Search Filters". If that were fixed, then one could generate a PQ from the map of the search results with all the filters that may have been selected. The workaround is that we can save search results to a bookmark list and create a PQ from that. Quote Link to comment
+Trekkin' and birdin'
Thanks! I haven't explored beyond the main search page much, obviously. Quote Link to comment
