+plowfive
Hi, I was keen to try out whether the new Android update fixed the navigate to solved location/waypoint bug I pointed out in this forum a month or so back. But unfortunately when I choose the navigate button now (post the latest Android app update), the app crashes! I am using Google Pixel S phone, with latest update. Would appreciate it, if you could have a look into this one. Thanks. Plowfive. Edited January 6, 2017 by plowfive Quote Link to comment
+plowfive
i also have a Pixel and the app doesn't crash for me when using the navigate to location feature. Maybe its a southern hemisphere thing - we have negative latitudes down here! Perhaps they can't easily test the app for some scenarios. Quote Link to comment
+rocketgarden
When you say Navigate, are you referring to the Driving Directions button? (Diamond with a right arrow in it) If so, it's likely a problem caused by another app (Alibaba B2B). In short, the Alibaba app is both promising to provide driving directions to anyone who asks, and also declaring that no one is allowed to ask it for driving directions. It's currently causing problems for a lot of apps, and hopefully the Alibaba devs will have it fixed asap. However, if you don't have the Alibaba app installed, this may be a different problem entirely... Quote Link to comment

I had the Alibaba app installed - but don't use it (yes I was referring to the Driving Directions button). I had better update my rating on Google Play for the app now! Thanks so much - really appreciate the prompt response. But still can't navigate (via Driving Directions) to solved solution for a puzzle cache - it only goes to the nominal location - if this could be fixed I would be very happy cacher! Thanks again!
