The calendar on your profile does NOT show the days when you visit waymarks as claimed; it instead shows the days on which you actually post the waymarks. What I mean by that is if today is 12/23/2016 and you post a waymark from your trip yesterday and set the date for that visit as 12/22/2016 it shows on the calendar on the 23rd, not the 22nd. Note that the visit date is correct on the waymark log itself. Can someone look into this? THANKS.

This has been a problem for a long time, and won't get fixed anytime soon. The only things that get fixed these days are critical issues, like if the website can't be accessed or email stops flowing.

This has been the case for years. Many of us waymarkers are used to the calendar process. Please don't change it now.

Won't get fixed any time soon? That just baffles me. It's certainly nothing more than a line of code pulling the date from the wrong field in the database. Should be a quick and simple fix.

On a similar note - since I have pending waymarks submitted in December, which will be approved in January, will those show for the month created or approved?

 

How about an unfinished waymark created in June and submitted in January?

 

I guess only time will tell.

The stats will reflect the specific date that you created the waymark. However, the date might be the day-before or the day-after what you expect, depending on the time-of-day it was created. I forget if the relevant time zone is UTC (GMT/Zulu) or the Pacific time zone (HQ).

We live in the Pacific time zone and can post at 23:59 and WMs will post for that day, 00:01 will post for the next day. I expect that they use Pacific because that's where Groundspeak is.

 

The June WM should appear as posted in June.
