+Mzebonga Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I'm testing out my first "Play Anywhere" cartridge and, to this point, it has worked fine in the Webwigo emulator. I compiled the cartridge and went to play it on my smartphone (Android platform) and it kept offsetting the start coordinates by 3.2km to the south. The starting zone and the start point of the cartridge are both set to N00 00.000 E00 00.000 so I'm not sure why this is happening. Has anyone got any hints on where to start looking to resolve this issue? Quote
+charlenni Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Perhaps the GPS of your smartphone hasn't any location information. You should start the player and wait some time to get a fix for the satelites. Quote

I did wonder about this but I've now tried two different devices (both android) and also restarted the cartridge after a 5 minutes or so with the same results. Quote
+Mzebonga Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 Just to provide an update: I created a new cartridge that consisted of a single zone set to the same location as the starting coordinates. When I compiled the cartridge as a "Play Anywhere", I had the same issue: the starting coordinates were 3.2km away. Quote
+Mzebonga Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Found a solution to this in case anyone else happens across it. Seems that when I moved the starting coordinates from N000 00.000 W000 00.000, everything started to work fine again. Not sure why/how that happened but the cartridge is back on track now! Quote
