+Team Whoopy
Hello We want to place a mystery cache near a beautiful park in my city (Belgium). The park is beautiful but every day students trash it with bags, bottles and other things. Every day the trash is cleaned up by the city-workers. We would name the cache "CITO banking" and we would mention in the description that while solving the mystery questions in the park, it would be much appreciated to clean up at least 1 piece of trash. Is this allowed, you think ? Since CITO is a registered name ..... thanks for your help Team Whoopy Quote Link to comment
+Touchstone
I've seen several Listings either include the acronym "CITO" in the Title or mentioned in the Description, so it seems as though the reference to CITO is generally considered OK. Checking with your local Reviewer is probably the best way to answer your question. The usual things that seem to trip up submissions of this sort are the requirement to pick up trash in order to log a Find (aka Additional Logging Requirement), or going a bit overboard on the environmental aspects of CITO (aka Agenda). Keeping it relatively simple is best. Quote Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
"Cache In Trash Out" is a service mark registered to Groundspeak, CITO is not. Quote Link to comment
