+Grandsire Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 We are no longer able to visit and maintain our 4 small caches so I have archived them. Please, if anyone finds any of them - either remove them or take them over as your own. Many thanks Quote
+mellers Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 It won't be possible for a different cacher to 'take them over' as you put it now that they are archived. If anyone wants to use that space to place a cache (or any space within 0.1m of the containers) they will have to create their own listing. Unless the rules have changed recently, in ordinary circumstances, I understand that reviewers aren't allowed to unarchive an archived cache simply to allow it to be adopted by another cacher. Anyone will, however, be able to remove the containers. Let's hope someone spots this and is local enough to remove the unwanted containers. Quote
+wmpastor Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I looked at two of the four listings, and in both cases it seems like the container is already gone. Quote

Any that are left, might have been picked up by leaving a a note on the cache page before archiving. Archiving them will no longer show those caches on searches. If anyone would ever be interested in any of those spots, hopefully they'll figure out why a container is already there. "Found a container with no listing" is a subject that's (regrettably) often discussed here... Quote
+Graculus Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 No, we can't unarchive caches so they can be adopted. This is explained in the Help Center.
