+Navdog Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 After the heated thread last month about missing travel bugs, I just wanted to share this good news about our Moonman Travel Bug. He had been missing for nine months! Several emails to the cacher in Wisconsin that had him went unanswered. But it looks like the guy was in transition and recently moved to Seattle where he has started caching again. So don't give up hope too soon when your TB goes MIA. +Silver Horde Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 I just had an email from The Beav saying that he was just about to place my TBJane into a cache. He's had the TB since March 2002. I am very greatful that TB Jane will soon be on the move again. Never give up hope I say!! http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=905 'Women are like teabags. In looking at the log there is a note that implies that MM had been handed around for awhile before being returned to the writer. The cacher did move to Seattle. MM is currently residing in my vest pocket waiting for my next expedition. The hitchhiker is a hard white plastic moonman that looks amazing like the original yellow one. It was added last April before being dropped off in Vacaville. The log will be interesting reading when this guy gets back home. The Moonman is in good shape and appears none the worse for the nine month hiatus. Wieght Man Quote
+Navdog Posted May 8, 2003 Author Posted May 8, 2003 That's good to hear his logbook is still with him! We haven't seen any pics of his travelling buddy. Thanks for the update. The adventures of Navdog, Justdog, and Otterpup Quote

I will work on that this weekend. Weight Man Quote
+Uplink Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Well, there is always hope... My Mobile Mouse TB (TBF5E) disappeared from Ochoco Viewpoint (GC3C5D) sometime between October 20th and November 24th of last year, and was not heard from again until last Saturday, May 3, when yumitori found him in the Johnson Creek geocache (GCD2E0) 350 miles away! I suppose it was taken by someone that doesn't log their finds. How irritating! Oh well, whatever! Quote
+Uplink Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Huh, what a fluke! Just noticed that it was my Alki Tour #2 cache where Moonman travel bug reappeared after nine months! And he only sat there one day so he's on the road again! Quote
