How do I remove an Officer?

An officer in a group I manage has asked me to be removed from the list. I know I have voted on demotions before but for the life of me, I cannot find a link to call that group vote.

Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

The member could just quit the group, or you can go to the group and click on their user name to call a vote to dismiss them.

Click on the persons name, not profile.

 

It should say demote this person on the left towards the bottom.

Someone on this thread may be able to help. Does that work for a Waymarker (or Team) that has deceased? And what level Officer is able to do that? Can a Level 3 Officer remove another Level 3 Officer?

Grahame Cookie, I tested this on a group I am an officer (not a leader) and yes by selecting the person's name (not profile) in question there will be a requester: Demote this member (66% officer vote required). Write a brief comment and submit to vote. I would vote to demote, and do not forget to vote yourself. That is 50% so another officer will need to vote. Hope that helps, if not write me, you have our email.

 

Note: Perhaps I was thinking of another group. No matter, you should be able to call a vote to demote.
