+butl
Hello everybody I hope this is the right place for a post like this. Also it's my very first post on the forums! I started to work on a Chrome extension that improves the geocaching.com website. It is available for free in the chrome web store and open source. You can download it here for free: Link to Chrome Web Store If you are a developer and want to contribute: Github For now I implemented the following features: - Friend logs on the right sidebar of a cache detail page - Show the elevation of a cache on the cache page (support for meters and feet) Here are some ideas that I want to add in the future: - Enrich log editor --> Add smileys --> Add FTF, STF and TTF tags --> Insert Signature (should be definable in the options pane of the extension) - Trackables: --> Show a better travel map for trackables --> Show traveled distance of a trackable next to the name on a geocache detail page --> Show last log date next to the trackable on on a geocache detail page to see if the trackable is still alive - Translate geocache detail content using google translator - Allow to write the same log for multiple field notes - Convert a word or sentence into numbers (German: "Buchstabenwortwert") - Filter logs of a cache/trackable by type I hope you enjoy this extension as much as I do and let me know in case you have any problems with it or with this post. Happy caching! Edited September 14, 2016 by butl Quote Link to comment

+butl
Thanks for your feedback! I just pushed a new version to the store that allows you to also see attached images in the friend log popup (especially useful for webcam- or earthcaches!) and the popup will stay open as long as you hover over the popup with your mouse. Happy caching! Quote Link to comment
+Vooruit!
Nice work! You probably know of the Project GC userscript? That has got some brilliant features as well. Maybe it can give you some ideas if you need 'em. Quote Link to comment
