seeing archived caches on geocaching.com?

Hi,

Is there any way to find archived caches that you haven't already got a personal pointer (watchlist, log entry) for, either in pocket queries, searches, or on the map?

There's a "blank area" I'm thinking of putting some caches in, but I'd like to see if there's any history of archived caches in it, in case there have been problems with vandalism.

Thanks.

Short answer is no.

You may try contacting the reviewer to see if there were any past issues with the area.

I think it is possible, but tough. So, basically, no.

I'm sure both of you meant well, but the short or basic answer is actually yes. It's easy to find archived caches on project-gc.com using the map compare tool.
