Just found our first cache on this geotrail turned geotour and look forward to more finds.

The one question we still have is whether any of the geocoins are still available - it has been 4 years since this started, after all. Can anyone confirm or deny?

It's been 5 years since this started...hard to believe there would be any geocoins left to give.

 

The Captain John Smith (CJS) Geotrail launched June 4, 2011 with over 40 caches within Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. A trackable geo coin will be awarded to the first 400 geocachers, while supplies last, for locating at least 15 CJS caches.

 

Wonder if it would be worthwhile contacting a CO to find out for sure.

there are not any geocoins left. They were very kind when telling me (nearly a year ago) that they were out of geocoins.
