Own TB-code

LittleAcid

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

some months ago I bought a TB. It travelled to Island and so on... Now, it dissapeared. Probably it was stolen. My question is: can I find out it's code, so that I can make a new TB on my own with its code? Thanks for your help, LittleAcid

On the TBs page, under Trackable Options, you will see the TB Tracking Number: xxxxxx

How long ago did it go missing?

They can have a habit of returning, once someone remembers/finds/decides to log it.

Dont be too quick to replace it...

edit

Placed in cache 24/Jul/2016

Reported 'Not Seen' 18/Aug/2016

Is a little soon to be replaced... If someone is on holiday, and wont update their caching untill they return home.

On the trackable listing page, the trackable owner can see the tracking number.

It's at the bottom of the navigation box in the upper right of the listing:

Your profile page: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=19

Click the "Trackables" tab.

https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?id=15850347

Over on the right are the trackables you own. Click on the one that you need the code for. Owners always see the reference number for their own trackable.

But you don't own any travel bugs. You own 2 geocoins. (This thread should be in the Geocoins forum.)

You could, I suppose, make some sort of proxy coin, and release that.

Seems cheesy to me.

Wait a bit. See if anything happens with your coins, or if the cache owners post something.

Then mark them "missing". If one of them shows up again, then the finder can log them by "grabbing" them.
