You, as a TB owner, can lock the TB if you keep getting 'False' logs, eg the TB is in your own collection but it keeps getting logs, and you KNOW it hasn't been found or seen by another cacher. GS also have the option to lock a TB, much for the same reason. Used to be used, not so much these days, GS leave it to the TO. Dealing with Bogus Trackable Logs Quote Link to comment

Dealing with Bogus Trackable Logs http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=708 If your Trackable is being logged inappropriately, you can lock it, essentially taking it out of the game. It can be unlocked later. To lock your Trackable, visit the Trackable page and select "Lock" under "Actions." Confirm on the next page that you want it locked. Quote Link to comment
